Brand On the Run: A digital one-man-band for small and independent businesses.
My name is Sarah and I've been running Brand On The Run for three years, working as a content designer with an eclectic mix of clients on their websites, online stores, email campaigns and other digital projects. I particularly like working with arts and non-profit clients, and all of my work has a focus on creating digital experiences that are as accessible and inclusive as possible.
What is content design?
It's a relatively new and trendy phrase in the world of digital services, and ties lots of disciplines (copywriting, graphics, audits/strategy, front-end development etc) together with a shared focus on giving an audience what it wants. Luckily for me it's one of the few trends I've been ahead of, and I finally have an accurate way to describe what I've been doing for the last seven years at agencies, in-house and as a freelancer. Luckily for my clients, working with a content designer brings a strong and consistent focus on a brand and its message to the many elements of a digital project, and it's also good value for money.
